Flexibility in Habilitation Plans

The SLA program offers great flexibility in completing each individual’s habilitation plan. For example:

Cooking and Money Management
  • Creating a grocery list
  • Walking to local stores
  • Budgeting finances
  • Preparing meals
  • Cleaning
Community Integration and Money Management
  • Budgeting for activities

Each plan is customized to address the specific goals and preferences of the individual, making the learning process engaging and practical. Once paired with an individual, team members will have a set weekly schedule. While the schedule can accommodate the team member’s availability, consistency is key for effective program implementation.

Location of Services

Support is delivered within the community—either in the individual’s own home or their family’s home.
