Opportunity Village Encourages Nevada Drivers to Put More Love on the Road This Summer
LAS VEGAS (June 25, 2024) – As the summer months heat up, Opportunity Village is encouraging drivers to stay safe and drive with kindness. And for those looking to pass the message along while they’re driving, Opportunity Village hopes to put more love on the road with their Opportunity Village license plate, with a portion of the proceeds going to support the 70-year-old nonprofit’s programs and services for people with disabilities in the community. 
Featuring a colorful heart created by Opportunity Village artist Sharen, the license plate is a welcome sight on Nevada’s roads, adding a little cheer and reminding drivers to put more love on the road as they’re driving around the state.
“Sharen is a wonderful artist at Opportunity Village, and she created this beautiful design that we hope inspires everyone to be more kind and put a little more love out there on the roads,” said Bob Brown, president and CEO of Opportunity Village. “We’re promoting the license plate throughout the summer to remind people to stay safe out there during the hotter months.”
