Sarah Stephens
Vice President of Business Development
Sarah Stephens joined Opportunity Village in 2014 as an Account Executive in the sales department, where she was responsible for sales contracts related to Opportunity Village’s document imaging and document destruction business lines. In 2016, she transitioned to the position of Business Development Manager for the Walters campus operations.
Sarah served as the division’s leader, responsible for executing service contracts with the mission of facilitating training and employment opportunities for adults with intellectual disabilities, as well as generating revenue for the organization. This was a hybrid role in which she retained her sales responsibilities, while also overseeing the division’s day-to-day operations. This new role gave Sarah the opportunity to expand the department significantly with new contracts and operational efficiencies.
In a comparison of FY15 to FY19, sales revenue generation in the division increased by 155%. In the same period, the division’s operating income increased by 332%. From 2018 – 2022, Sarah held roles as the department’s Assistant Director, Director, and Senior Director. In September 2022, she transitioned to her current position as the Vice President of Business Development. In this role, Sarah is responsible for researching, analyzing, and developing new streams of revenue for the organization.
Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Sarah has been a Las Vegas resident for more than a decade. She earned a bachelor’s degree from UNLV in 2012. Even though she has worked in corporate sales and operations management for her entire career, Sarah’s degree is actually in technical theater with an emphasis in stage management.
