OV honors Wynn Resorts at Virtual Camelot Gala
Opportunity Village and Wynn Resorts teamed up virtually to raise critical funds for adults with disabilities at Camelot on Nov. 12.
LAS VEGAS — Opportunity Village and Wynn Resorts couldn’t be together in-person for the 19th annual Camelot gala, but they teamed up virtually to make a significant impact on the Southern Nevada community on Thursday, November 12.
Throughout a one-and-a-half-hour virtual program that featured performances by Piff the Magic Dragon, Lance Burton and Shin Lim – and a cocktail hour led by Tony Abou-Ganim – the two organizations celebrated the positive changes and stories surrounding Opportunity Village during the pandemic and also raised critical funds for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through the years, Wynn Resorts has supported Opportunity Village and people with intellectual disabilities with generous donations, countless volunteer hours, team member participation at the non-profit’s signature events, and invaluable in-kind support.

Joseph, Vice President of Philanthropy at Opportunity Village. “During these challenging times, it takes a special kind of partner to continue to invest in the OV mission and be so willing to dive headfirst into making a difference. Funds from the night were raised in a variety of ways, including: virtual “seat” and “table” purchases, Silent and Live Auction bidding and one-off donations.
