Registration is Open for the 20th Annual Las Vegas Great Santa Run
All funds raised go to support adults with disabilities in the Las Vegas area
LAS VEGAS (May 13, 2024) – Registration is open for the 20th Annual Las Vegas Great Santa Run. As one of the primary fundraisers for Opportunity Village, participation in the 5k run or 1-mile walk directly supports people with disabilities in Southern Nevada. The event is scheduled for Dec. 7 at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center, 200 S. 3rd Street. The Las Vegas Great Santa Run is presented by Circle K and hosted by Opportunity Village and Fox5 and their Take 5 to Care Partner, Findlay Subaru of Las Vegas.
To register, visit www.lvsantarun.com. Registration is $25 per participant during early-bird pricing, which ends July 29. The Las Vegas Great Santa Run is an all-ages event, and children under 3 are free. Pets, strollers, wheelchairs, and walkers are welcome.
“We are making the 20th annual Las Vegas Great Santa Run bigger and better than ever, with fun prizes for fundraising efforts and great entertainment,” said Bob Brown, President and CEO of Opportunity Village.
Opportunity Village is celebrating its 70th anniversary, and to help celebrate, every 70th person that registers for the Las Vegas Great Santa Run will receive a voucher for one free item at the Santa Run merchandise booth at this year’s event. Lucky registrants will be able to choose from newly designed T–shirts, sweatshirts, water bottles, or enamel pins. Las Vegas Great Santa Run participants also can earn prizes for fundraising, beginning with a $10 donation. Prizes range from free hot chocolate at The Magical Forest to a two-night staycation at a Station Casinos property.
All proceeds from the event go to support Opportunity Village in its mission to employ, empower, and serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Nevada.
