Opportunity Village Promotes Cathy Hanna to Chief Financial Officer
LAS VEGAS (July 20, 2023) – Opportunity Village recently promoted Cathy Hanna to chief financial officer. Previously, she was the organization’s vice president of finance. In her new role, Hanna is responsible for Opportunity Village’s financial strategy, including all accounting, audit and treasury activities.
“Cathy has an incredible energy and a caring spirit, and she is inspired to fulfill the OV mission and build a dedicated team,” said Bob Brown, president and CEO of Opportunity Village. “As CFO, she will continue the legacy that began almost seven decades ago and ensure that Opportunity Village is leading the way in professionalism and financial transparency.”
Hanna’s career spans more than 20 years in financial management, leadership and corporate strategy, and she came to Opportunity Village in 2018 as the director of finance before being promoted to vice president. Throughout her career, Hanna has developed and led financial teams in analysis, including multi-year and multi-company forecasts, annual budget, scenario analysis, financial reporting, and diagnostic testing. She holds a Master of Business Administration and a Professional Certificate of Auditing from California State University, Dominguez Hills. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from San Diego State University.
