LAS VEGAS (April 29, 2024) – A new era is beginning at the Opportunity Village Thrift Store this week with the opening of OV Thrift Plus. In response to popular demand, thrifters looking for a destination shopping experience filled with unique, antique, and high-end finds have their new home in Las Vegas.
OV Thrift Plus is located inside the main Opportunity Village Thrift Store, but has its own vibe, with regular merchandise updates daily. A curated collection, OV Thrift Plus is a high-end thrifting experience built for treasure hunters on the lookout for vintage designer finds, antique or rare musical instruments, and other unique items that can only be found at this one-of-a-kind shopping mecca.
Opportunity Village will celebrate the official grand opening of OV Thrift Plus at 10 a.m., May 2 with a ribbon cutting and a few remarks inside the main Opportunity Village Thrift Store, 390 S. Decatur Blvd. The event is open to the public, and shopping will commence just after the ceremony.
“It’s our 70th anniversary year, and we’re doing everything bigger and better at Opportunity Village. We’ve listened to feedback, and we want to make it really convenient for those shoppers looking for high-end re-sale items. With OV Thrift Plus, we think we’ve done that,” said Bob Brown, president and CEO of Opportunity Village.
